06 Aug NYC Wedding | Best Wedding Photographer
Wow, doing a Jewish Wedding in New York City as a South African girl was a dream come true! This was more than a Cinderella moment for me. This was a crucial part of becoming the Best Wedding Photographer.
On our flight to New York, I was shaking with both excitement and fear! Thinking about the journey now I just realize I am totally crazy! But what an adventure! Here are some of my favorite images, I hope you love it as much as I do.
The accessories, the shoes, the details, the hair, the makeup and even the perfume were perfect! How lucky am I to capture all these beautiful things as my job!
The detail on Chani’s dress was exquisite, on this closeup above you can see how many diamond and beads are worked on to create this masterpiece!
There is something royal about this beautiful bride and her entire bridal look, don’t you agree?
It was so easy to capture stunning images of our gorgeous bride Chani!
Her dress still remains one of my all-time favorite dresses, the diamonds, and the sleeves were just out of this world.
We took some stunning images in a New York studio and then headed for the streets of Brooklyn.
I honestly wish I had a week to capture this beautiful bride in the magnificent New York City!
Levi was so much fun during his groom shoot! He knew exactly where he wanted to take some photos, which made my job easier!
He’s fun attitude made me relaxed and enjoy each moment! Levi’s hat was a fun prop to work with during the shoot!
I truly have to give this groom 10 out of 10. Mostly I struggle to get the groom to work with me, but not Levi. He was game for everything!
(Future Brideys: please tell your guy to work with the photographer and not against her. That’s all, thanks, okay bye.)
The photo below was a snapshot while Chani was laughing at Levi, she didn’t even know I took the image!
And wow, I think this is my favorite image of her! I mean, just look how happy she is, look at the beautiful New York ski line and morning pastel colors!
This image makes me so happy!
Have you seen it during sunrise? If not, book your flights today! It is spectacular! We did the day-after-shoot on The Brooklyn Bridge, it was ice cold but the couple owned it!
We had to do the shoot during sunrise before the bridge became too crowded.
If you would like to do a destination shoot pop me an email here. I travel all around and would love to capture your story to last a lifetime!

Chani’s ring captivated me so much that I send this image to my boyfriend at that time and now I have a similar wedding ring hehe.
Good taste Chani (or was it Levi’s idea?) I just think the pear shape is so unique and brilliant. What diamond shape if your favorite?

This wedding was definitely one I will never forget! The Jewish culture is packed with beautiful traditions, I have truly learned so much from these special people!
At the end of the photoshoot, we decided to go get some cappuccinos at a local coffee shop in Brooklyn. These cappuccinos were exactly what we all needed after the photoshoot.
What do you think of these images?
