1. Love story

Frankie and I actually met when we were in Grade 3- we sat next to each other and I still remember
going home that day and I told my mom- I really like sitting next to this boy ( my mom still glares at me
until this day when she hears this part LOL). However, over the years we drifted apart and it wasn’t until
our varsity years, did we meet again and became close friends. Eventually, he asked me out and we were
inseparable since.

The proposal

Frankie actually surprised me with a weekend trip to Magaliesberg. The hotel packed a picnic for us
along the river. As we were chatting, I notice two staff members walking over with a bottle of wine and
a bouquet of red roses. As they offered us some wine, he turned the bottle around with a custom label
that said: “Will you marry me?”. Frankie then got down on one knee and popped the question!

E- Shoot

We had our heart set on Moonshot café as it was the location of our first date after our first
engagement. We fell in love with the scenery and the vibe of Moonshot Café right then and there. As we
were planning for our wedding, Moonshot café also tied in with our starry celestial theme of the
wedding. Absolutely in awe finding such a view in homey Pretoria!

The shoot was actually a post-ceremony shoot for us as we got married according to Chinese traditions
at the beginning of the month. Red is the traditional color for Chinese weddings, hence the color of
my dress.

We had very little moments in front of the camera, but Dune made us feel right at home.
Presenting ourselves in front of them as a married couple was an amazing feeling. We are so thankful of
having Dune as our photographer and seeing the first photo had me in giggles like receiving our
Christmas gifts.
Everything turned out so perfectly, just like it was written in the stars.
