I have been envisioning this Cape Town Elopement shoot for a while.
The look that I wanted was a very glamorous moody shoot. I wanted the high contrast between the white sand dunes and the black wedding dress. To be honest the shoot came out more spectacular then I ever dreamed of.
Cape Town Elopement
Wow, I was so blessed with incredible light, the most beautiful backdrop, 2 Supermodels (Chirestie & Greig), and an insanely talented Makeup Artists and Hair Stylist, Marisa from Sketch & M.

Tip for photographers:
Don’t be afraid to be creative and play around, after your safe shots. The images can turn out to be a disaster or an award-winning shot, you have nothing to lose. Get your creative juices flowing by going through fashion magazines or Pinterest.
The Romantic Bride
Close towards the end of the shoot, I asked Chirestie to change into this pink dress for a more romantic feel. I saw a shoot in Harpers Bazaar that inspired me for these few final images. Adding the fail on top of the dress created that soft romantic feel what I was going for. I think these final romantic shots were, in the end, my favorite. What can I say, I am a hopeless romantic!
